About
Helping Hands is a service organization chartered to help meet specific needs of local Waco families with children who have been affected by disability, whether mental or physical, and don't have access to insurance. Our service reach ranges from providing functional life equipment for children who are physically disabled, building wheelchair ramps at houses to increase access and mobility, provide communication devices for children who are mentally disabled, as well as run a Best Buddy initiative that works to build genuine friendships between our Baylor students and the families we have the privilege to serve.
