At UT Health San Antonio, more than 3200 students participate in 65 professional, graduate and undergraduate degree programs in which they train to be the health care and biomedical research workforce of the future. Our comprehensive network of medical, dental, nursing, physician assistant and other health care professionals provide care for two million patients a year in more than 100 affiliated hospitals, clinics and health care facilities across San Antonio and South Texas. As the premier academic research center in South Texas, UT Health San Antonio scientists pursue powerful solutions for such diseases as Alzheimer’s, cancer, diabetes and heart failure and, as such, serve as the primary driver for the $40.2 billion health care and biomedical sciences sector of San Antonio’s economy.

UT Health San Antonio Engaged welcomes partnerships with subgroups, (university organizations, departments, programs and offices), and community partners who seek volunteers. You can browse through Subgroups (below), Community Partners (below), Courses (below), or the "Get Involved" tab on the top right-hand of the screen. Tip: To find a particular type of opportunity, use the "Get Involved" feature by searching interests (ex. veteran, healthcare, animals, etc.).

Community Partners
If you would like to affiliate an established GivePulse group with UT Health San Antonio ENGAGED, please become a “community partner” by clicking here. If you do not have an established GivePulse group, please create one, affiliate it with UT Health San Antonio ENGAGED, and become a “community partner” by clicking here.
