About

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the nation's oldest and largest pre-health honor society. The Texas Alpha chapter of the University of Texas at Austin serves to prepare undergraduate students for their pursuit of a career in the health professions. AED offers opportunities for intellectual and professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit both the community and the individual. AED as an organization is committed to encourage excellence in premedical scholarship; to promote cooperation and contact between premedical students and educators in premedical and medical schools in developing an adequate program of premedical education; to expose the student to many firsthand views of medicine for aiding in the final decision of his or her future; to expose students to medical schools of Texas, as well as the life of a medical student.

Alpha Epsilon Delta is the National Health Preprofessional Honor Society dedicated to the encouragement and recognition of excellence in preprofessional health scholarship. Our Society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of a professional development, provides a forum for students with common interests, and extends a program of service to benefit the college/university community.

Hello!
We are looking for volunteers to come out to our small preschool in South Austin next weekend. We have a community work day, in which parents and local volunteers come together to restore our outdoor and indoor environment. We have a large outdoor play area, where we will be raking, gardening, painting, etc We can use all the help we can get. There are two shifts, from 9-1 or 11-3, and lunch is provided!
